Musher's Secret - All Season Paw Protection

Musher's Secret is a dense barrier wax that forms a breathable bond with your dog's paws. Developed in Canada for use with sledding dogs, it provides tenacious protection even in the most extreme conditions.

Made from a blend of several food-grade waxes, then refined according
to our our own special formulations, Musher's Secret is the safe, non-toxic
way to protect your dog's paws.
The semi-permeable shield is absorbed into the paws, allowing perspiration to escape through the toes.

Made from 100% natural waxes and easy to apply!
Spread a light coating of Musher's Secret on the pads and rub in. Mushers will absorb in minutes (rub a little on your hands, when it is absorbed you will know it is absorbed into the pads as well). We use an old rug near the door for application purposes. In very harsh cold or snowy conditions be sure to rub up in between the pads to prevent snowballing.
For year round use, 1-2 times a weeks is sufficient. During extreme weather additional applications may be necessary.
Frequency may depend on length of your walk and weather conditions.

Dog Booties - 1000 and 330 Denier Cordura

Manufactured by Dogbooties.com - 1000 Denier Cordura® booties are a coated nylon, similar to backpack material. These will hold up better on sidewalks, streets or rough terrain than a thinner material. They are water resistant. Keep in mind that these boots will wear out on abrasive surfaces.

Price is per bootie - If you purchase 8+ booties you pay $5.50/boot or 16+ booties you pay $5/boot (this will be adjusted accordingly on your final invoice).

Now also 330 Denier thinner option available - this option is best suited for snow to prevent snow building up between the toes, or where the lightness of the bootie is more important than durability. Currently 330D option is only available in Red color, other colors on request.

The small dog sizes XXXS, XXS and XS are 500 Denier to make them less "stiff" for little dogs to wear. WE CAN ALSO ORDER IN 330 AND 500 DENIER BOOTIES IN ANY SIZE ON REQUEST.

These booties are built with a slight taper to the toe. This reduces the floppiness of excess fabric at the toe and a better fit on the paw is achieved.

VELSTRETCH® Brand Fastener makes the best closure for booties. It has stretch built in and the tension can be adjusted for the best fit. It is a quality closure that stays put. Some bootie makers use a cheaper, inferior, off-brand closure that resembles fuzzy elastic. There’s no comparison between the two. We’ve seen it – we’d never use it.

Trixie "Walker Care" Protective booties. Made of durable polyester with a vinyl strengthened toe part. A great boot for protecting injured or sensitive paws. Supports rapid healing of paw injuries. Well padded with a soft fleece inside.

Velcro fastening, easy to put on thanks to the top of the boot opening up fully.

ManMat Non-Slip Dog Booties

These booties are impregnated with a polymer technology. They are waterproof, durable and have a non slip surface. Surface doesn't change shape and behaviour till – 50º C.

The boots provide protection for the dog´s paws and pads on rough surfaces and during activities which may wear the dog´s pads. These booties are best suited for situations where extra grip is required on slippery surfaces. Also suitable for protecting injured feet and keeping bandages dry - please note that the even though the material is waterproof the booties have seams which may leak so to keep feet completely dry a plastic bag etc on the inside is recommended in wet conditions.

Black bottom (rubber) part with mixed Velcro colours.

To find the right size measure your dog´s paw at the widest point by getting your dog to stand on a piece of paper and drawing a line on each side of the foot (the paw spreads out when there is weight on it so it is important that your dog stands up with weight on the paw). Also note that back and front paws may require a different size.
